Broadbank changes
PA Wellington Interim changes in Broadbank’s board of directors have been announced by the Chairman of Fletcher Challenge, Ltd, Sir Ronald Trotter, and the chairman of Government Life Insurance Corporation, Mr B. S. Cole. Mrs P. A. Jefferies and Mr H. D. Peacock have been appointed to the board. Messrs H. A. Fletcher and I. R. Small and Sir Lawrence Govan have retired. Mr W. Wilson, a director of Fletcher Challenge, has agreed to continue for a limited period. Mr T. J. F. Haydon has agreed to continue until June 30. Messrs H. G. Lang and J. T. F. Francis continue as directors. These changes follow the acquisition of Broadbank by Government Life from Fletcher Challenge. The acquisition remains subject to Commerce Commission approval.
