Coastal plan
The Government of New South Wales is inviting development companies in Australia, New Zealand, and elsewhere to examine plans for a large recreational and residential project in the lllawarra region, south of Sydney. Called Illawarra Boatharbour, the proposed project includes a 600-berth marina; associated boating facilities, tourist accommodation and support services, retail, commercial, and residential development, and land and water recreational facilities, at Shellharbour, a coastal town 60km from Sydney.
