Driver to return
NZPA-Reuter London Eddie Cheever, the 28-year-old Italian-based American, will return to the Tyrrell Grand Prix team in 1986 as teammate to Martin Brundle, of Britain. Cheever was nominated by the team’s boss, Ken Tyrrell, before entries closed during the weekend for the 1986 Formula
One World Championship. However, Cheever’s inclusion depends on the team finding suitable cosponsors for the team. Ken Tyrrell said: “We have half the necessary budget but we need to find more.” Cleever, from Phoenix, Arizona, has been in Grand Prix racing since 1979. He has driven in 85 Grands Prix.
