Emergency landing
A United States Navy Hercules aircraft made an emergency landing at Christchurch Airport yesterday afternoon.
An air traffic control spokesman said problems developed with one of the plane’s engines. The engine was closed down and the aircraft landed safely. “It was just a minor incident with one of the motors causing trouble,” he said.
