Teat importer to sue
PA Wellington The importer of Playtex baby teats is suing both the Health Department and the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research for more than $500,000. George Jackson and Company, Ltd, is claiming
$387,250 special damages and $150,000 general damages against each defendant. The Attorney-General, Mr Palmer, is being sued on behalf of both departments. The claim was filed in the High Court at Wellington on December 23.
