Meatworkers’ strike ends
PA Auckland Auckland freezing works resumed killing yesterday after a three-day strike by tradesmen. About 1800 freezing workers were suspended during the strike, held to protest about the delay in
talks on the tradesmen’s national agreement. Union officials persuaded the tradesmen to resume work. The agreement is due to be negotiated on January 30 after the freezing workers’ award talks next week.
