Bowls team play-offs
The teams for the playoffs in the two inter-club bowls competitions have been determined and they are:-Three-fours:-
Premier division: Papanui I and South Brighton I. Division one: Riccarton W.M.C. I, Hornby W.M.C. I, Kaiapoi I and Rangiora I. Division two: Christ-church-Richmond M.S.A. II and IV, Elmwood II and New Brighton 11. Division III: Papanui W.M.C. 11, Canterbury 111, Papanui VI and either United I or Elmwood in (these two teams were equal on both points and games won, and a preliminary play-off will be held). Junior fours:Division one. Section A: Morrison Avenue. Section B: New Brighton and Papanui 111. Section C: Burnside II and Dallington. Section D: Edgeware. Division two. Section A: Woolston W.M.C. I. Section B: Burnside I and New Brighton I. Section C: Burwood I, Christchurch-Rich-mond HI and Elmwood 11. Section D: Bumside 111 and Shirley 11. Section E: Fendalton I. Section F: Spreydon I. Section G: Canterbury I. Section H: Riccarton Racecourse I. Section I: Barrington II and St Albans I. Section J: Shirley I. Division three. Section A: Fendalton I. Section B: Edgeware. Section C: Shirley and Sydenham 11. Section D: Linwood I. Section E: Christchurch-Richmond M.S.A. 11. Section F: Beckenham 111 and Redcliffs. Section G: Kaiapoi I. Section H: Papanui W.M.C. IL Section I: Papanui. Section J: Linwood 111 and Woolston W.M.C. IV. The Three-fours play-offs are likely to be held on the week-end of February 8 and 9, while evening games are being arranged to cut back the number of junior teams.
