Mike O’Brien has win
PA Westport Mike O’Brien, secretary of the Marlborough Racing Club and Marlborough Trotting Club, gained his first winning drive with Safecracker in the Jack Reedy Memorial Handicap, with a penalty-bearing maiden race at the Kawatiri Trotting Club’s meeting on Saturday. Safecracker, a three-year-old gelding by Alba Counsel from Safe Hanover, is trained at Blenheim by his father, Pat O’Brien. Result.—
