Two drown
PA Auckland Two swimmers drowned in separate incidents yesterday. Surf life-savers spent more than 30 minutes trying to revive a man who had been swimming at PauanuL He was Peter Robson, aged 61, of Pukekohe, a real estate manager. He had been swamped by a wave about 11.40 a.m. Tn Northland, the body of a man was found by his two arfnlt sons half an hour after be had been swept off rocks
at Ngahau Bay, near Helena Bay, yesterday afternoon. He was James Oswald Charles Kehoe, married, of Whangarei. The police said Mr Kehoe, who was in his late 50s had been gathering mussels from the rocks. His sons began a search of the area immediately using a small boat. At Waipu Cove, two children, aged five and seven, were rescued when their inflatable boat drifted out to sea.
