Lynley Hayes, a game warden at Willowbank Wildlife Reserve, holds Cisco, an American miniature horse foal, which was born on Saturday. Cisco’s mother, Bonnie, looks on. Bonnie and the father, Clyde, were imported from Canada in 1982 by the Wellington Zoo and came to Willowbank in January. Cisco, a chestnut colt of only 4.2 hands, will eventually be used for stud work at the reserve.
