Bus dispute
Sir, — A. Johnson obviously does not recognise driving as a skill, and this is why he and others are a potential hazard on the roads. Bus drivers are poorly off when compared with the highlypaid airline pilots, who have at their disposal all the sophisticated electronic devices to aid their skill, but the drivers’ degree of responsibility is no less where public safety is involved, and so they should be paid more than they are getting. — Yours, etc., C. E. S. REDDISH. December 18, 1985.
