Williams appeals
F. M. Williams had his horseman’s licence sus-
pended until after January 4 for causing interference in a CO heat at the Motukarara trials yesterday. Williams, however, has lodged an appeal against the suspension. It is alleged that the Templeton horseman, driving Reinmaster, moved in with 450 m to run, checking Robin Dancer (R. Butt), which fell.
Foulden Treasure, which fell in a qualifying trial 250 m after the start, has been made ineligible from contesting any trial meeting untihafter January 18.
