Gumpert loses job with Audi
Roland Gumpert has apparently lost his job as the mastermind of Audi Sport’s competition activities. His dismissal is said the stem from the speculation that surrounded Audi’s activities in the Ivory Coast Rally. It has been alleged publicly that there was an illegal car swap by the Audi team half-way through the rally.
It is said that an Audi engineer with very little competition experience is about to replace Gumpert.
