The position Is available to be taken up at the beginning of Term I, 1986. The appointee should preferably possess a Master's degree and suitable teaching experience. The successful applicant should have a good command of both spoken and written Maori, and be able to teach courses through the medium of Maori. The duties Include teaching In, and activities related to, the Certificate in Maori Studies, as well as participation In tutorial groups. The University expects to fill the position by way of a single appointee but does not exclude the possibility of making two part-time appointments. The appointee’s will be required to contribute to a Women’s Studies core course at Part 2 (year 2) and to a Social Psychology course at Part 1. Applicants should have a Masters degree (or equivalent) In Psychology with a strong background In Women’s Studies and Social Psychology.
