Depot support
A Railways Road Services depot at the Christchurch railway station has the support of councillors in principle. However, two changes will be sought to the Railways plan for the depot. The access to the depot, at the junction of Moorhouse Avenue and Madras Street, should be as far west as possible and narrowed, the committee said.
