Leadership ideas
Resolutions dealing with leadership problems in the National Party will be sent to the party’s caucus and executive by its CanterburyWestland division, which met last evening.
The division’s chairman, Mr Neville Young, said that the meeting got to the
“nitty-gritty” of problems facing the party and the leadership issue was widely discussed. “We are in a difficult period at the moment,” he said. The nature of the resolutions would not be made public, said Mr Young.
