PA Auckland The historic High Court in Auckland will be the venue next month for the preliminary hearing into charges connected with the bombing of the Greenpeace flagship Rainbow Warrior. The building, which has been closed for some years apart from ceremonial occasions, is at present in poor condition. Mr Alan McGuffog, regis-
trar of the District Court in Auckland, said yesterday that the Ministry of Works and Development had given an assurance that the court would be in good condition by November 4, when the hearing begins. The hearing of charges faced by two- bombing suspects, Major Alain Mafart and Captain Dominique Prieur, will be held in courtroom No 1.
