IEP boosts investment
PA Wellington Industrial Equity (Pacific), Ltd (lEP), the Brierley operation in Hong Kong, will increase its investment in Central Pacific Corporation from 9.5 per cent to 24.9 per cent, subject to regulatory approval. lEP’s chairman, Mr Ron Brierley, said the agreement called for Central Pacific to make a private placement of 631,837 new common stock to lEP at SUS 9. Central Pacific is a bank holding company and the trading subsidiary is American National Bank, which has total assets of SUSSBOM.
