Hostess case settled
PA Auckland A former Air New Zealand hostess seeking compensation through the Arbitration Court after being accused of sexual misbehaviour on a flight and dismissed settled out of court yesterday. i
The Court had heard 2¥z days of evidence in the personal grievance claim brought by the hostess, whose name was suppressed, and the Airline Stewards and Hostesses’ Union. Mr Graeme Colgan, counsel for the hostess
and union, said he was “very pleased” that the parties had reached a settlement. No details of the settlement were announced. Neither Mr Colgan, the airline’s counsel, Mr Mike Neville, nor the hostess would comment.
