Retirement for Oh So Sharp?

NZPA-AFP London Oh So Sharp, triple crown heroine of the 1000 Guineas, Oaks and St Leger, may not race as a four-year-old, according to trainer Henry Cecil. After her final classic triumph at Doncaster last Saturday, plans to race the filly next year may be shelved. Cecil, who became the

first trainer to net £1 million in a season after Saturday’s win, said: “I feel in my heart of hearts that Oh So Sharp should not race again. “She has done everything and there is a distinct possibility of her retiring to stud, but I will have to discuss it with Sheikh Mohammed (the owner) when he next comes over from Dubai.”
