Liberals protest to France

NZPA staff correspondent London The Liberal Party plans to lead a campaign in Britain against French nuclear testing in the Pacific and against France’s involvement in the Rainbow Warrior affair. According to the Liberals’ president-elect, Mr Des Wilson, a New Zealander, the party’s message was given to the French consul in Dundee. The Liberals are holding their annual conference in Dundee and Mr Wilson led a deputation of 50 party members to the consul to register the party’s protest.

He said that as a New Zealander he was pleased the party was so united in its stand against what was happening in the Pacifist
