PA . Wellington While family groceries continue to rise in price, it now costs |1.28 less a week to fetch them. The average family, maintaining a two-litre car, paid 13.19 c a kilometre for petrol before Wednesday’s 5c price cut, the Automobile Association estimated yes-
terday. With the average family car travelling between 10,000 km and 12,000 km a year, the annual expense was about $1319 at the old price. At the new price, that bill falls to $1252.38 and weekly expenditure on petrol falls from $25.36 to $24.08, according to the A.A.
