Gun-raid hunt continues

Several persons are still sought by Christchurch detectives concerning the $20,000 raid on a Riccarton gun shop oh Monday. Four or five shotguns of the 26 firearms stolen were still missing, said Detective Senior-Sergeant David Haslett.

Three samurai swords and six machetes were also missing,, although some

swords and machetes had been) recovered. Detective Senior-Sergeant Haslett said that the police were still working on the case and were hopeful of finding more weapons and more suspects. Two men have already been arrested in connection

with the raid at Shooters’ Supplies, Ltd, in Riccarton Road.
