Waitaki posts
Three new senior appointments have been announced by Waitaki N.Z. Refrigerating, Ltd. Mr W. J. (Bill) Melhuish has been appointed Waitaki’s chief executive in Europe, based in London. Previously group marketing manager with Waitaki, Mr Melhuish has been responsible for sales with the company since 1964 and spent three years managing the company London office from 1966-69. His major responsibility in Europe will be sales of consumer meats. Mr M. G. (Michael) Sepie has been appointed company secretary with additional responsibility for corporate development, after the announcement of the retirement of Mr D. A. (Don) Hogan. Mr Sepie, was previously secretary and treasurer at Canterbury Frozen Meat, Ltd, a company he joined in 1956. During his period at C.F.M. he spent four years in London as secretary of that company’s trading subsidiary. He was appointed company secretary at C.F.M. in 1975. Mr G. N. (Graeme) Robinson has been appointed general manager, marketing and tanning. Previously development and diversification manager with Waitaki, Mr Robinson has a wide background meat processing management and the development of consumer engineered products for export
