Government typists ban overtime

PA Wellington Public Service typists in Wellington and Lower Hutt yesterday voted to ban all overtime and all Ministerial correspondence to the State Services Commission. The Public Service Association’s regional secretory, Mr Francis Wevere said that the typists would also refuse to do urgent tasks normally given priority.
