Government typists ban overtime
PA Wellington Public Service typists in Wellington and Lower Hutt yesterday voted to ban all overtime and all Ministerial correspondence to the State Services Commission. The Public Service Association’s regional secretory, Mr Francis Wevere said that the typists would also refuse to do urgent tasks normally given priority. The industrial action is over what the typists say are delays by the comirassion in honouring an ment made earlier in the year to review their salary « r £ eS ' Public Service Association says the review has not been made.
