More milk drunk
Consumption of milk has stopped declining and begun to rise again since the Government introduced its Family Care package late last year. The Minister of Agricul-
ture, Mr Moyle, said that last year milk consumption had fallen an average of 1 per cent a month, but had begun to rise again this year, in spite of a “temporary hiccough” when the price of milk had risen.
