The BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE provides a forum for industry leaders to discuss significant issues of common concern and to contribute to public policy formation by developing and promulgating common views on key issues. It involves the participation of Chief Executives by invitation from the major added value companies in New Zealand. As the first permanent executive appointee, the successful candidate will need to be highly talented, responsive and able to readily take the initiative. The location is in Wellington City. REQUIREMENTS: • Strong leadership qualities to gain the respect and confidence of leading decision makers. • High level intellectual capacity and creativity. • A sound appreciation of economic and financial issues and a capability for policy and strategy formulation. • Needs to have a sound understanding of business policies and practices, the role of private enterprise, and the Government, Public and local body functions. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • A record of work related performance and academic achievements. • Age range flexible but preferably 30-50 age group.
