Spanish bull baiting
Sir, — The photograph of the “fun and games” with bulls in a Spanish town (July 9) only demonstrates to the world once again who the real animals are. No doubt they have the “blessings” of their church on this occasion. If people remain silent and apathetic to the atrocities perpetrated on these animals and also in the experimental laboratories the world over, it can only result in humanity reverting back to animal-state existence, and a dark age. — Yours, etc., P. DORWARD, ROSS. July 11, 1985.
