Sugar talks still sour
PA Auckand Talks failed yesterday to resolve the Chelsea sugar refinery strike. Officials of the Auckland Trades Council, the Sugar Workers’ Union, and the New Zealand Sugar Company will resume talks today in an effort to end the 16-day dispute over a wage claim.
