Big day for matches
A big day’s rugby is in store at Denton Park on Sunday. The main game, beginning at 2.45 p.m., will be the final of the presidents and club captains’ colts tournament. The teams through to the final are High School Old Boys and Linwood. In the semi-finals two weeks ago both teams caused upsets,
Old Boys by beating last year’s winner, University, and Linwood by eliminating Marist. There will be two curtainraisers, the first, at 12 noon, will be a play-off for third and fourth between University and Marist' and at 1.15 p.m. the visiting Nippon Steel side from Japan will meet a University Colts XV.
