P.O. backing cricket
The Post Office will sponsor junior cricket in New Zealand to the value of more than $500,000 over the next five years. This was announced today by the Postmaster General, MrHunt. Over the next five years
the Post Office will provide $lOO,OOO a year for the creation of artificial pitches to be used by junior cricket teams. The Post Office will also provide $26,000 a year for the national under 17 cricket tournament.
