Theatre crafts
Professionals from the world of theatre and film will be in Nelson from June 1 to 3 to teach at a theatre crafts workshop organised by the Nelson Provincial Arts Council. Those who take part in the workshop will be able to study either film and television or live theatre. Each have been divided into a number of different courses. In the film and television
workshop there will be a course in directing, tutored by the director of “Other Halves,” John Laing, as well as courses in acting, writing and camera, tutored by John Bach, Michael Noonan, and Greg Wells. Acting, directing and writing courses are also to be offered in the live theatre workshop and these will be tutored by Michael Morrisey, Jan Prettlejohn, and Renee Taylor.
