Four hurt in car collision
Four persons were injured when a car and a van collided on the SpringstonLeeston road, just south of Springston, about 8 a.m. yesterday. The injured were taken by St John ambulance to Christchurch Hospital. Rocky Reihana, aged 24, of Peterborough Street, Christchurch, suffered cuts and leg and internal injuries. He was reported in a fairly comfortable condition last evening. Ruth Matthews suffered cuts and injuries to the head and legs, and was reported in a stable condition.
Guy Hughes, of Ashburton, was reported in a comfortable condition.
A fourth person, whose name was not available, was treated at the hospital and discharged.
