Fire damages house

Fire extensively damaged a house in Kainga Road, north of Belfast, yesterday afternoon.

The wooden house was well ablaze when three engines and a water tanker arrived at the scene about 2.20 p.m., said a Fire Ser-

vice spokesman. Firemen stopped the blaze from spreading to other buildings nearby. The Christchurch police later spoke to a man about the fire, but no charges will be laid. Firemen left the scene about 5 p.m.
