Peninsula, Burnham on top in golf

Peninsula Combined and Burnham lead the Central Canterbury Shield inter-club golf competition with four points, but Peninsula Combined has a match in hand.

The points, with Burnham, Tai Tapu and Greendale, having played six matches and the other teams five, are: Burnham 4 (26%), Peninsula Combined 4 (23), Weedons 3% (26), Richmond Hill 3 (23), Tai Tapu 2% (23), Lincoln 2% (19%), Greendale 2 (19%), Hororata 1% (17), Ellesmere 1 (14%).
