A copper beech tree is the centre of attention of people on a guided tour of Christchurch inner city trees yesterday. The tour was led by Mr Waiter an arboriculturist at the Christchurch City Council. The copper beech tree is in the grounds of the Arts Centre, where the walk began. The walk was part of the Festival of Trees week, and was organised by the Chchstchurch Oivie Trust to mark the International Year for Urban Trees.
