Soccer finalists found
Hanimex-North Shore and 4XO Dunedin City will meet in the final of the Air New Zealand Cup soccer tournament on March 20. North Shore clinched its place as the group one winners with a dramatic 3-2 win over N.Z. Permanent Gisborne in Auckland. Both teams finished on seven points, but North Shore had the superior goal difference. Dunedin City got into the final when Napier City Rovers, the only team capable of pegging it back, went down, 4-3, in a bad-tempered match against National Mutual Miramar yesterday. Napier needed to win to reach the final and trailed, 3-1 at half-time. In the second half, Trevor Wattam, the Miramar mid-fielder, was sent off for kicking a Napier ilayer. Then Stan Clark, the Napier defender, was also ordered off for a foul on an opponent. Results.— Section A:
