About 90 workers at the Christchurch Carpet Yarns factory in Burnside returned to work last evening after striking since late on Wednesday evening in protest against the dismissal of a worker.

The secretary of the Canterbury Woollen Workers’ Union, Mr David Shenker, said that a personal grievance hearing would be held on Wednesday to discuss the dismissal.
