Prices for beef up
Payments to farmers for P., G.. and LI grades of beef have increased 5c a kilogram and manufacturing grades have risen 10c in next week’s beef export schedule for the South Island. Bull beef has increased sc. Pelt payments have been reduced, woolly and shorn lambs by 50c and sheep, 25c. A woolly lambskin with o.skg of wool will be worth 450 c; o.Bkg, 570 c; Ikg, 650 c; 1.20 kg, 730 c; and I.skg, 870 c. A sheepskin with o.skg of wool will be worth 719 c; Ikg, 853 c; and I.skg, 983 c.
