Iranian demand
Iran’s Chief Justice says Teheran will not hand over four men who hijacked a Kuwaiti airliner earlier this month unless other countries extradited hijackers of Iranian planes. Two U.S. aid officials were killed by the hijackers before Iranian security men stormed the , Kuwaiti Airbus at Teheran airport. Ayatollah Abdulkarim Mousavi Ardebili told a news conference he was surprised other countries had requested the extradition of the hijackers. Iranian planes have been hijacked to France, Egypt, Italy, and Iraq during the last year.— I Teheran.
