Law allows homeowner rights
NZPA-AFP Havana The Cuban National Assembly has passed a law allowing all citizens to become homeowners. The law, which marks a return towards private property rights, also allows homeowners to form cooperatives to build new housing. About 1,300,000 Cuban families will soon live in private housing, doubling the present number, sources said.
