PA Napier An Air Force Orion was called in during a search for the source of an emergency locator beacon near Napier on Sunday. The beacon was finally found at 7.30 a.m. on Monday in a plane parked beside an airstrip in the Kaweka Range. The police could not say whether it had been set off accidentally.
