Waikato entries reopened
PA Hamilton Entries for the Waikato Times Cup at Te Rapa on November 17 have been reopened. Because of a misprint in the October issue of the “New Zealand Racing Calendar” the entries for the cup will not close until noon on Monday. The Waikato Racing Club’s secretary, Mr Tony Enting, said that because of the deletion of the conditions of entry from the October “Calendar” there had been much confusion concerning the closing date for nominations.
The club has used its discretion under standard regulations and has amended the date of entry for the Cup to Monday, along with the rest of the second day fields.
The weights already declared will be null and void and those horses already entered for the cup will be included in the entries next Monday.
