Todd to lead parade
The Olympic equestrian gold medallist, Mark Todd, will lead the parade of horses winning their sections at the Canterbury A. and P. Association’s show at Addington today. The parade, which is becoming a popular event on the Metropolitan Club’s show day programme, will take place immediately after the running of the New Zealand Trotting Free-for-all, which is due to start at 2.15 p.m.
The club will donate a trophy to the best-presented horse in the parade.
