Cricketers confident
NZPA staff correspondent Colombo New Zealand’s cricketers flew to Pakistan yesterday with their confidence high after a . convincing seven wicket win over Sri Lanka in the final of two one-day internationals. Coney was satisfied with all aspects of yesterday’s performance, and said there were signs that his side could become a top fielding side. New Zealand’s preparations for the three-test series have been limited coming out of the off-season and Coney said: 'I have to say Pakistan’s preparation for our series would be
inordinately better than ours because of their test series against India 1 . But now that has been abandoned after only two of the three tests, he said the difference between the two sides would not be as great. SRI LANKA S. Wettimuny b M. Crowe 3 A. R. S. Silva c Smith b M.
