Candy demand
Three robbers masquerading as hobgoblins have held up a Nashville service station, telling a startled attendant that they would take the money be- ■ cause he had no Halloween treats. “You don’t have any candy to give us so we’ll take the money and buy our own candy,” Gary Chumley, manager of the Thoni Oil Company station, quoted on the the suspects as saying. “They had this yellow make-up, like a ghost or j skeleton, on their faces that would shine under bright lights,” Mr Chumley said. The police later arrested two teen-agers. Some of the I stolen money was recov- ■ ered.—Nashville.
