Animal experiments
Sir, — How long will it take for cruel and senseless experiments on animals to end? The giving of a baboon’s heart to a two-week-old baby, knowing that the experiments with animals have failed, causes unnecessary suffering of both human and animals. The baby could have had a baby’s heart which was available. If this is modern technology we have a long way to go. — Yours, etc., L. A. MINTY. October 30, 1984.
