Woman at bus stop robbed at knifepoint

PA Auckland A woman, aged 57, had a knife held to her throat in one of three robberies within two hours in Auckland yesterday. A man was punched in the toilets of the Carlton Club Hotel, in Newmarket, about 4.30 p.m. by an assailant who stole $250 from him before running off. The police are still looking for the attacker. A man was attacked at 5.45 p.m. in the eastern suburb of Glen Innes and robbed of $5. A youth, aged 16, will appear in the Children and Young Persons Court today charged with robbery.
