Nicaraguan to make N.Z. visit
PA Wellington A leader of the Nicaraguan development agencv, Mr Cesar Vegas, will visit Wellington on November 1 and 2. He will be in Wellington two days before Nicaragua’s first democratic elections, to be held on November 4. a Corso statement said. Mr Vegas will be in New Zealand as a guest of Corso to explain his organisation’s work in assisting development projects with communities in Nicaragua. While here he wifi seek a meeting with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Lange, to bring him up to date with events in the region, and to ask that the New Zealand Government consider a bilateral aid relationship with Nicaragua.
