Police attacked
Several policemen were attacked in fights with patrons of the Imperial Hotel at midnight last night. A police spokesman said that five or six people had been arrested after the brawls, which happened as policemen were escorting nle from the house bar e hotel. Those arrested have been charged with assaulting the police and ob-
structing the police, and some of them will appear in the District Court today. About 12 policemen went to the Imperial Hotel at midnight after a patron had thrown a bottle through a window. The hotel manager asked for the bar to be cleared, and several patrons began fighting with policemen as they were escorted outside.
